Well......finally after much work and lots of patience....a new force in metal history is born...we are called Of Hatred. This is the live journal for the group at the moment....

So for starters.....were a 5 piece band...consists of 2 guitars, 1 bass, drums, and vocals....the origional Of Hatred was Justin Stein - Vocals, Jordan Miller - Guitars, Joe Dunn - Guitars, Josh Van Ess - Bass, and Andrew Cross - Drums...but now due to personal issues and health problems...Justin is no longer able to be with us...but hes always on our minds, and we wish him the best of luck with all that he has to deal with.....

So about 4 months ago....a group of guys got together and said lets do something for a project...those guys were the ones mentioned above....low and behold, a project is now active, and its a force to be reckoned with. The name Of Hatred comes from the fact not a day goes by when we are talking about our project and the type of music we listen to, and someone comes up to us saying "Aw god we hate that shit...bunch of nonesense, noise making, cant understand the vocals....meaningless vocals...." random bullshit like that, you get the idea..when we come from the side where its all about the energy of the band mates, energy of the crowd, the lyrics (not all songs are about mushy love making you music judging fucks! cant have a yin without a yang!)....and ya know, this isint a negative group at all, but it certainly is straight up melodic thrash/metal....and fromt he reviews weve gotten from local fans...its some good shit.....so right now some working titles you can expect to see are "Skitzo Savior, March Of The Chaotic, Palace Of Desires, Chaos Theory, When Warriors Come Out To Play, Of Hatred"....all songs in the making.....if ya want similiar bands to be compared to, some bands that have been inspiration for us are groups such as Shadows Fall, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity.....shyte like that..So yeah.....we plan on heading into studio in the next couple of months to FINALLY get all our material recorded and put onto an actual cd. So Yeah...thats just a small fraction of what this group is about and what were doin....now...on for our first show....

Jordo here, and lemme tell you what a fuckin night that night was! We finally had our first show after 4 months of practicing together. What a fuckin response we got! There must of been a little under 100 people there to watch our set! It was fuckin amazing for us! So much publicity in one night....I cant wait to play more future shows....they all loved our songs....even though we werent with a vocalist that night....but its now again in the working.....Mike Albright has stepped up to the plate and is going to show us what he has to offer to the group....i hope everything goes well with him, hes a good guy, and makes a good fit with the group....if I could of gotten his timing down for the show, it would of been fuckin awesome....but nonetheless people still loved the show! I couldnt thank my buys enough for being in this group...this our group, were in this project together...and we all have fun doin it. We had all sorts of friends and family out to the show...and it was an awesome night....and then Deviate hit the stage....fuckin amazing group of guys....can do metallica on the spot...and i got the pleasure of singing a metallica and an iced earth song with them.....Mike, Brian, Pat, and Pat are 4 very cool guys....Pat there lead guitarist....OH MY GOD.....fuckin whips out solos from Metallica, to playing heavy riffs from Children Of Bodom......and Kept as our openers...fuckin awesome energy, good solid hardcore breakdown music.....and lemme tell you...this is in no way meant to be offensive...their lead singer Ben....is one angry asian on stage! These guys have IMMENSE energy, and know there shit...they fuckin were a kick ass opener.Hope to play future shows with them....it was an all out awesome night....and I speak for all of Of Hatred when I say this, we look foward for playing for all of you again, and hopefully more then that! So thanx goes out to anyone and everyone who supported us at our show, and we look forward to the future....so devil horns to all metalheads alike, and to all, stay sic.
